Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2021 Lexus RX 350 F-Sport

Question:

HI I have a 2021 Lexus RX350 fsport no tow package. Have seen mixed things online regarding what hitches fit. I’m looking to tow a utility trailer karavan 6x10. What parts would I need to make this work “all-in” Thanks Dave

Hey David, I would be happy to help you find the towing parts for your 2021 Lexus RX 350. The correct trailer hitch would be the Draw Tite part # 75540 which is mostly hidden and has great towing capacities.

Then for trailer wiring you would want the Curt part # C56217. Do you have a ball mount and hitch ball already as well?

Thanks Jameson The photo shows a standard RX (not fsport) which has a different rear bumper. Are you sure this hitch would still work? And no, I would also need a hitch ball and mount

@DavidF It does for sure fit the F-Sport models. I should have noted that the picture I attached wasn't an F-Sport so that it wouldn't be confusing. What size ball is your trailer coupler designed for? For a ball mount we would want to know how much drop you'd need to tow the trailer level. Could you get me the distance from the bottom lip of the coupler on the trailer down to the ground.

@JamesonC It’s a 2in ball and 18” floor to coupling per the manufacturer

@DavidF perfect! So you'd actually need a rise of right at 3 inches so for that the Draw Tite ball mount part # 40345 with the 2 inch hitch ball part # C40004 would be perfect. You'd have everything you need then.
