Need Spare Rim For Sailun S637 235/85-16 Tires On 2018 Forest River Cedar Creek Hathaway Edition 34R

Updated 01/08/2026 | Published 01/05/2026

Question:

I have a 2018 Forest River Cedar Creek Hathaway Edition 34RL2. I lost my spare tire and rim on the road and am looking a replacement rim. The tire I want to put on is a 235 85R16. The rim on the existing wheels are 8 lug on 6 1/2. The existing tires, and the tire I intend to put on the spare rim, are Sailun S637 trailer tire. What I need help with is determining the correct rim with the correct rim width. I cannot find the rim width of my existing wheels and want to get the same. Can you recommend some options for the Sailun S637 trailer tire on a 16 rim, 8 lug on 6 1/2 with whatever rim width you think would match my existing wheels? Thank you!

Hey Lance, thanks for reaching out. While I don't have a way to look up the exact wheel width or wheel color your camper uses, since they are 16" wheels they are almost definitely 6" wide. That is the most common size by far. 16" wheels can also come as a 7" wide but they are not nearly as common. The 235/85-16 ties can mount to both a 6" wide and 7" wide rims, so the safe bet here is definitely to go with a 6" wide for your spare. It will undoubtedly work with your Sailun S637 tire. So for a spare rim, something like the Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel - 16" x 6" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 # AM20750 will work great. This is just a basic white rim. We do have other colors and styles available if you want.

Was there a specific color you were wanting?

Thank you very much. I'm looking at the Dexstar Steel Mod Trailer Wheel- 16" x 6" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 - Black, model DEX69FR. I assume it would work fine since it's the same size?
