MORryde Cushioned Pin Box Best Fit to Replace My Lippert Rhino Pin Box

We have a 2025 Coachmen Brookstone with a Lippert Rhino Box king pin, would like to replace it with a Morryde cushioned pin box, but I can not determine if I should get the MR83QR, or MR55QR? I have attached pictures of the stickers on our current Rhino.

Hey Paula,

Thank you for the pictures! It looks like your Lippert Rhino Pin Box is most similar to the MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box # MR55QR. The internal rubber shear spring is optimized for trailers that range from 18-21K lbs to ensure that it provides just the right amount of shock absorption for your application. If your trailer's GVWR is less than 18K lbs, then the spring will be too rigid to provide adequate support.

In the case your trailer weight is well within the 14 to 18K-lb range, then you should get the MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box # MR83QR. The heavier duty spring of the # MR55QR will still work but it will make for a stiffer ride.
