How Do I Choose Which Gen-Y Pin Box To Select For My Trailer?

Question:
My trailer has gvwr 15495 pounds going by the Chart this is what my pin 3495.But the last time I weighed my pin weight was 2300 and the trailer was 13900 should I go with this one or next size down?

Hello again Steve. According to Gen-Y, you want to go off the actual GVWR when selecting your pin box. Since your GVWR is 15,495 you will definitely want to go with the 2,500 lbs - 4,500 lbs pin weight capacity range.
The Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box # GY78GR you mentioned replaces the Lippert Rhino pin box. Please verify your trailer is currently equipped with the Lippert Rhino box. There should be a big sticker that says Rhino on it. Or if you can send me the model number, serial number and date I can tell you which pin box you have.
