Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Crossbar Spread on 2017 Fiat 500
Updated 12/21/2025 | Published 12/20/2025 >
Question:
Website shows that the Y67RB fits the 2017 Fiat 500. Can you tell me how far apart I can mount the 2 rails? Can I separate them by 30 inches on this car?

Hey Paul! The crossbar spread is going to be the M4 number listed in the installation instructions and it is a fixed distance. For the Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack # Y67RB on your 2017 Fiat 500 that is 18". You won't be able to move the crossbars around to get the 30" spread you're looking for. Is this for something specific like a roof box?

Thanks Robin. It is for kayak saddles for carrying a sea kayak. Minimum width is usually considered 24 inches but 30 inches is preferable.
