It's a good fit and nicely finished. The etrailer video was a big help with installation. The hardest part was getting the exhaust hangers on and off, so I highly recommends some exhaust hanger removal pliers and shifting the inner hanger partially off for easier reassembly. Also chase the the threads on the passenger side weld nuts, I had to run a tap through one. Our 500 Pop doesn't have a rear diffuse so I didn't have to cut any plastic but the hitch is vey visible
We plan to use the hitch with a Kuat bike rack, and ski rack since getting a roof rack for a 500 is very difficult in the US, and my wife is short.
I bought it to tow a light weight trailer behind my fiat 500. I've done so a few times and have not been disappointed. It was installed by me and was a "1 beer" job on the difficulty scale. There have been no problems and works and looks great.
So happy to find a hitch for my 2012 Fiat POP. Was installed this morning and looks great. Thank you etrailer!!! Now I have room for all my gear when I go camping!
It honestly took longer to make a coffee than to do the install.
Everything was painless and easy to install.
The instructions and YouTube video was excellent. 10/10 On the quality, ease of install and instruction.

Hey Mathew! Sounds like a good cup of coffee was waiting once you were done installing.
As a welder I felt lazy buying this however I wasn't about to figure out a hitch for a fiat 500. As you can probably tell etrailer makes it too easy to buy anything and everything. I had my hitch in no time, was able to install it in my stone driveway with the car backed up to a retaining wall so I could get a little more room. Amazing directions with realistic installation time estimates. I highly recommend following directions closely however for any one who cuts corners. Year later and it still holds my bike rack and enduro mountain bike.

Awesome!
I bought this hitch on my Fiat 500 and had my teenage son install it in my driveway. The instructions were clear and the installation time estimates were correct. Looks good and works well for my small boat trailer and bike rack.
After one year the hitch has been good and looks new except for some dirt. I thought that paint would fade or flake off but not the case. Would recommend to a friend or family .

I would recommend this hitch to anyone looking for a bike rack.
Easy to install. Low profile so I haven't bottomed out with it yet. I use it primarily with a cargo carrier/rack.
I would imagine the trailer hitch is fine because it is a Curt brand, but I have not installed / used it yet. I am commenting more on etrailer's excellent customer service.
I installed it on a 2016 Fiat 500e electric car so no muffler to deal with. Very easy one-man installation. Kit has threaded guide wires that make pulling bolts into blind holes very easy. I am very happy with it.
Remove the support rectangle bar before installing the high quality towing bracket.
Excellent receiver. Clean installation. Great service.
the hitch was made with high quality materials and the install kit was very intuitive, I will definitely buy from these guys again.
Went on slicker than snake ( oops ) can't say that so lets just say it worked great.

A year later and Im still pleased with this purchase. No rust, no problems with this DIY installation and its more then paid for itself in allowing me to transport my bikes using a hitch mounted carrier, hardware store runs using my trailer and because its on a Fiat, I get a lotta conversations with very nice people about it. Its a good buy.
