Question:
I bought a 2026 Master tow 80THDEB with electric brakes. I will be towing it with a 2025 MBS Diesel Class C Forest River Sunseeker. What brake controller do you recommend.

Hey Graham! It looks like the Sunseeker is built on the Sprinter 3500 chassis, I recommend verifying that to be sure. For a brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. This is simple, reliable, and doesn't take up any space in the cab. The main unit mounts behind the dash so only the control knob is visible, giving it an OEM look.
Do you have a factory 7-way with the brake controller port? If you do, you can use the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers # 3063-P along with the # 331-TPH-017 for a plug and play installation. If you don't have a brake controller port you can use the # RED52VR which is the version of the Liberty that comes with a universal wiring harness.
Any big trips coming up with your Sunseeker?

Red Arc operates well. Professionally installed and knob in convenient location on dash board. Tow car tow dolly behind C class motorhome. Be sure to clean 7 way connector periodically as can short out operation if no covered when in storage.

I put the same set up in my MBS Sunseeker. It was nice having the correct and optional plug and play cord for the MBS. You do have to gain access to the center floor battery and I was able to plug into the correct socket which is located on a motherboard under the driver seat frame. Nice that I didn’t have to remove the drivers seat to access. The limit controller diale fit perfectly on the dash. I popped off one of the accessories dash cover, drilled the right size hole and put the cover back on. It makes it look like a factory option. My only regret is that I couldn’t find a compact auto to flat tow. I was using a dolly trailer with a Toyota Prius. Since the steering column does not lock . We did get body damage from the trailer in tight turns. I would either consider flat towing or using an aluminum auto carry trailer to avoid possible auto body damage. I I had to do it over again I definitely would find a vehicle that can truly be flat towed. Easy to connect, disconnect and no trailer to move around.
