Hello William, thanks for reaching out. For your 2023 Hyundai Palisade with the factory roof rack and crossbars, I recommend the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 # Y95AV. It’s a really nice middle-of-the-road option that fits the Palisade well without being oversized, and it works cleanly with the factory crossbars using Yakima’s universal mounting system.

The NX 16 offers plenty of room for luggage, camping gear, or family travel items, and the aerodynamic shape helps keep wind noise and drag to a minimum. It also opens from either side, which makes loading and unloading much easier depending on where you’re parked. The built-in locking system is a nice bonus for peace of mind when you’re on the road or stopped overnight.

Overall, it’s a dependable, well-built cargo box that balances capacity, convenience, and ease of installation. As long as you stay within Hyundai’s roof load limits and check rear hatch clearance during install, it’s an excellent match for the Palisade. On that note, there must be at least 47" between the center of the front crossbar and the line where the roof and hatch meet. Otherwise, the hatch will contact the back of the box. Check that and you will be good to go.
