Question:
Will air bags effect ride quality when not loaded? 5psi min air pressure required. Air lift or Firestone? Will they work with 1 rear lift on 2023 Tundra?

Hi Phil; the air bags will not have an impact on ride quality when you run them at the minimum 5 psi. This complete adjustability is the best things about air bags when compared to other suspension enhancement options.
Between the two brands, Firestone is definitely the best choice. For your 2023 Tundra you need the # F89VV. The quality and durability of the Firestone air bags is far superior when compared to Air Lift making them more reliable. With the 1" lift an additional spacer will not be required to install the air bags.
I also recommend adding a compressor like the Air Lift WirelessONE # AL25980. This will allow you to adjust the pressure no matter where you go from the cab of your truck. It is wireless so you can use the remote or mobile app to control it. Since it is a single path system the air pressure will be equal between the two air bags.

Hey Phil, how did the Firestone air bags work out on your Tundra with the 1-inch rear lift? It’d be great to hear if the ride stayed smooth at the 5 psi minimum. Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar suspension.
