The 0.9 error on the P2 # 90885 means that a trailer is connected but the controller has lost connection to battery ground. Check the white brake controller wire. On a 2007 Chevy, depending on if it is new or old body style, it may or may not plug into a port in the truck.
If it does plug in make sure the connection point and the plugs are clean and free of dirt or corrosion.
If the brake controller is hardwired into the tow package wire bundle under the dash make sure the connection on the white wires is good. You may have to reestablish the connection. The other solution is to run a wire from the brake controller white wire, through the firewall, and directly to the negative battery terminal.
The controller should only be grounded in one of those three places: if it plugs into the truck then it grounds through that connection; if hardwired to the tow package wire bundle then it should only be connected to the tow package ground wire; and if it is hardwired and not plugged in or attached to tow package wires at all then it must ground to the negative battery terminal.
