Does the champion 4500-watt dual fuel generator operate at higher elevations above 4000 ft and higher? or is there a high attitude kit available for this unit? Up to what elevation would this generators current carburetor work before needing a high attitude kit? Thank you Bob

Hey Bob! The Champion 4,500-Watt Dual Fuel Portable Inverter Generator # CH44FR can operate at high altitude. As it is, engine power and generator output will be reduced approximately 3-1/2% for every 1000 ft. of elevation above sea level.
There are some high altitude carburetor main jets available but you will have to acquire those from Champion directly. They do have a minimum altitude requirement, otherwise they will damage the engine. You can see the part numbers and requirements in the attached picture.
