Would Ryobi RY903600 Work To Power A Travel Trailer

Enjoyed Wild RVLifes recent vid of your biz! Learn a lot from them, JD, and others! Recently given a Ryobi RY903600 NON inverter genny. Have both a Southwire 30a and 50a external surge protector and Bonding Neutral plug. Can I use this genny for my travel trailer? Thanks!

A 3,600 watt generator like the Ryobi RY903600 could definitely be used to power a travel trailer. Not sure what camper you have but the 3,600 watts would be enough to start and run most RV AC units without issue. You would be able to power other 120v appliances while using the AC, or if the AC is not running you would have enough power for pretty much anything else onboard a travel trailer.

What travel trailer do you have? What kind of appliances are you needing to run other than AC?

Have a stick-n-tin 2018 Shasta Oasis 26DB. My question was more about concerns with inverted vs non-inverted gennys as this Ryobi is a construction grade one and had been reading that there was concern about inverted vs non power and one having more dirty power than the other.

@Travis It really comes down to your preferences and your budget. The non-inverter generators are more for commercial applications. They are more susceptible to fluctuations and can cause damage to sensitive electronics such as cell phones when plugged in directly to the generator. So it depends what you will be using it for. For like AC only it would be fine, especially if you do not have the budget for a new generator. If you were in the market for a new one, I would definitely recommend doing an inverter generator. The only other option would be to purchase a portable power station like the ArkPak 730 Portable Power Station w/ 300 Watt Inverter # AP730US that could be charged using the non-inverter generator and safely power your sensitive electronics.
