Is there a Channel to Install the Screws on the Caliber Marine Slides for Boat Trailer Bunks?

By the picture it seems that the screws would make contact with the bottom of the boat. Are there channels for the screws to sit in?

Yes, there is David. If you take a look at the picture below, of the Caliber Marine Slides for Boat Trailer Bunks item # CA26AJ, you'll see one of our etrailer stickers. To the right of it is a channel that runs the entire center of the slide.
The instructions recommend to use a countersink drill bit to install the screws. This will avoid all contact with your boat's hull.
