Specs:
Typically mounted upright on a boat trailer's crossmembers, vertical bunk brackets allow you to mount a bunk board on its skinny side and run the board from the front of the trailer to the back. On kayak trailers, these brackets are mounted to the trailer's frame and support bunk boards that run across the trailer.
Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the CE Smith 8 1/2 inch tall, galvanized steel, light-duty, vertical bunk bracket. Now, this light-duty bunk bracket will let you mount a bunk board on your boat trailer. This is ideal for two by four or two by six bunk boards on small craft trailers. This basically will enable the bunk board to pivot during loading.
And right up here, these two holes, these are the bunk board mounting holes. The diameters on those holes is 7/16 of an inch. This will stabilize your bunk board when there's two brackets being used. If you notice on this bracket, it has two slotted mounting slots here, which will permit as much as about 5 1/2 inches of height adjustment during installation. This bracket does install vertically on your boat's trailer frame with a U-bolt.
Now, the U-bolts that go in here, we do sell those separately. Total height on this, we go from the bottom to the very top is gonna be right at 8 1/2 inches. Total width on it, gonna be right at two inches wide. Now, the mounting slot, you can see there's two of them. The width on the slot is gonna be a half an inch.
And the length on each one is right at 2 1/2 inches long. Now, this is an 11 gauge galvanized steel, which will resist rust and corrosion. The thick all-around coating on this allows the galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding. This part is made in the USA. And this is for a quantity of one bracket.
But that should do it for the review on the CE Smith 8 1/2 inch tall, galvanized steel, light-duty, vertical bunk bracket..
