Question:

looking for a trailer hitch for a 2012 chevy Silverado 3500 with a dump body.It has a fuel tank mounted at the rear of the frame that may cause a problem with installation. will also need a pintle hook receiver. please advise as to weather you can help.

We do offer both Class IV and Class V trailer hitches for the 2012 Silverado cab and chassis. All can be seen on the link provided. All require drilling and that the spacing of your frame rails be 34-inches outside to outside. The most popular among them is the Curt # C15800 which is a 2-1/2-inch Class V hitch.

Please note that one of these, part # 41936 from Draw-Tite, cannot be used with your rear fuel tank-equipped Silverado, but the others do not have this exclusion.
