Hey Rick. The Blue Ox Pole Tongue Weight Distributing Hitch Adapter item # BXW4023 works with trailer frames up to 6" tall. It fits trailer tongues from 2-3/4" to 4-1/2" wide and has a 2,000 lbs tongue weight capacity.
Legend doesn't list how tall or wide the tongue is for their 2011 Thunder 7x27 aluminum trailer on their website. They also don't mention whether or not you can use a weight distribution system with their trailers. I recommend confirming your trailer is rated for one and the dimensions of your tongue.
How heavy is your trailer when you've got it loaded up?
You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.

Hey Rick, did you get a chance to confirm your trailer’s tongue size and weight rating for using a weight distribution system? Knowing how that checked out could help others with similar aluminum trailers. Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.
