Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this InfiniteRule Trailer Coupler Lock Kit for your Demco eZ-Latch Couplers. And this also comes with a hitch lock and a coupler lock, so you're gonna get a complete kit here. and this trailer security kit is designed to keep your trailer safe and secure, whether it's parked or whether it's hitched to your tow vehicle. Now this does include this universal trailer coupler lock, and then it also has this flush style hitch lock that I don't have connected here just for ease of demonstration purposes.
And this is all gonna work together to keep your setup safe and to provide a great theft deterrent. Now this pin is going to work with this coupler lock, and then this will work on your eZ-Latch coupler when you have this hooked up to your 2-inch ball on your vehicle. And I don't have an eZ-Latch coupler here on my table to, kind of, to demonstrate this, but I just kind of wanted to walk you through how this works. So the ball here is, you can position it in several different places here to get that perfect fit. I just have it on the first setting here.
And right now, this is designed to work with a 2 5/16-inch ball, but I'm just going to take that off. And now this will work for a 2-inch and a 1 7/8-inch ball. And since this works with the 2-inch eZ-Latch ball coupler, then this is how you are going to want it. So again, as you can see there, this is specifically designed for the 2-inch Demco eZ-Latch Coupler. This will fit the Cast models only.
So you'll put the coupler on here, and then once that's secured on the adapter there, you're just going to put the top portion on and then you're gonna make it as tight as possible to whichever set of holes are going to line up the best there. So let's say that it's going to fit here the tightest. So I'm just gonna run this through here as quickly as I can to give you a brief demonstration, and then you will just secure that on there and then tighten that down with a key. And so then your coupler, your eZ-Latch coupler, will be protected and safe. And on your screen, I'm just kind of throwing up an image there, just kind of a demonstration of what this is going to look like.
You could also attach that flush style coupler latch as well if you wanted to. And then when you're ready to disconnect, it's gonna be very simple as well. So it's a great setup overall. It's bright orange, so it's easy to spot. So if someone's looking for a trailer to steal, they're gonna see that bright orange and that's also going act as a great theft deterrent. This is also a lock protector. Let me put that image back up there. I just wanted to show you what that looks like. So the idea is, once you have this installed, that rubber boot or lock protector is going to protect the lock. So that's a nice addition to this setup. Now also included, as I mentioned, is going to be this flush style coupler latch lock. So it's going to secure the trigger latch on your trailer's coupler so that when your trailer's locked onto your tow vehicle, when it's on that 2-inch ball, it's not gonna be able to be removed. And I just wanted to walk you real quick through how these locks work, and the locks are gonna operate the same. You're gonna get six keys. One key's gonna run the show. So I'm just gonna stick the key in here. Put it in the right way, that would be helpful. And then I'm gonna turn this counterclockwise, like I'm loosening a bolt. And then that's coming undone, as you can see here. And so once it's loose, it's gonna come undone, then you'll just run that pin through that latch and then connect this back up. And then you'll turn clockwise, so reverse the way you were going previously. You'll turn clockwise, like you're tightening up a bolt. And then once you get it tight enough, you're going to line the key up to the nearest set of hash marks around the ring. That's going to allow you to release the key. Let me take a look here, see where I'm at. And once you got that lined up, the keys will come right out. And then as you saw, all of these locks do have a rubber cap to protect that keyway from moisture, debris and things like that. So you're gonna have plenty of keys to maybe give to someone else that you want to have access to your trailer. You have keys for backup. But like I said, everything's keyed alike, so that's very convenient. And then, of course, the flush style hitch lock's gonna add another layer of protection by securing your ball mount or accessory to your 2-inch or 2 1/2-inch trailer hitch receiver. And then that's going to ensure that your trailer is locked onto your tow vehicle and can't be removed without the key. So great, great theft deterrent system that we have here. Great way to protect your investment. And again, our universal coupler lock here is gonna have multiple positions to make sure that you get the best tight fit. Everything here is durable steel, stainless steel. So this is gonna hold up really well to the elements that it's gonna be exposed to. But if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this kit or anything else that we carry here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out, 'cause ultimately, we wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
