Can I Install The C15810 Any Still Store My Spare Tire Under The 2001 Ford F-350?

Question:
I would like to purchase this hitch but I need to know if my 285/75/R16 spare will fit under the truck still. I was reading the questions and saw where someone had a 18” rim spare tire and it was fitting their truck but it didn’t say what the truck was. Mine is 2001 F350 7.3 Crew cab 4x4 8’ bed.

Hey Jerod,
The Curt # C15810 is going to be a great fit for your 2001 Ford F-350. The only issue that comes up with the spare not being able to store under the vehicle is if it is larger than 20". Anything larger cannot be stored, but for your with your 285/75/R16 tire size, you will have no issues!
What are you planning on using the hitch for?
