Question:

2019 escalade,factory tow package.no electric brake controller.7 pin plug on trailer and suv,but no power to 2 axle brakesblue wire. what controller/harness do I need?

Hey Richard! Since you have a 7-way with the factory tow package I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED26CR. This brake controller is simple, reliable, and won't take up space in your 2019 Escalade.

The main unit mounts behind the dash so only the control knob is visible. This also means it has a nice clean look. This version of the Liberty comes with a custom wiring harness that will plug into your factory port under the dash for an easy installation.

what price are we estimating it would cost? I was looking at the curt proportioning {triflex?} I think. She is going to be pulling a 2 horse trailer, dual axle,featherlite trailer.I think she needed a truck,butshe insisted on getting this cadillac--hihi

@RichardB the price is on the product page and also on the links at the top and bottom of this answer page. The Triflex # C27MV will work but the quality is much lower. I have had to help a lot of people with Curt brake controller issues over the years for various reasons. The only issues we ever really get with the Redarc brake controllers are from incorrect installation. If you will be towing a lot I would get the Tow-Pro Liberty # RED26CR.
