Question:
Once this is installed do I simply unplug the connector to the motorhome and then all my lights are operated by the truck as usual? Thank you 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche

Hello Cory,
The Blue Ox EZ Light Custom Plug-In Tow Bar Wiring Kit # BLU55HR is a great fit for your 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche. Yes, once you disconnect the wiring from the motorhome, all of your lights will work as usual.
Please make sure to check your owner’s manual to see the correct way to get your vehicle ready to flat tow.
I attached a great help article on the must have components for flat towing. It’s a great read whether you’re a seasoned flat tower or just getting started.
If you’d like, feel free to tell me what flat towing components you already have, and I’ll be happy to look the list over to see if there’s anything else you might need.
Are you new to flat towing, or just getting a new vehicle set up?

Hey Cory, how did things go with the Blue Ox EZ Light wiring kit on your Avalanche? Did everything switch back to normal lighting once you unplugged from the motorhome? Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar flat tow.
