Question:
How weather-tight is the Fas-Top Traveler FT44MV combo on a 2025 F-150 Platinum 6-1/2' bed? I want to keep camera gear dry on road trips.

Samantha, the Traveler tonneau cover and camper shell topper combo # FT44MV is one of the better soft systems for that. On your 2025 F-150 Platinum 6-1/2' bed, the tonneau seals with non-skid weather strips and a reinforced flap behind the cab, while the topper uses hook-and-loop seams and a locking tailgate lip. Together, they do a great job shedding water and dust.
If you’re hauling camera gear, I’d toss a dry-bag or storage bin underneath for backup, but most owners report their beds stay bone-dry after storms. Planning any cross-country trips soon?

yeah! actually I’m headed up through Oregon and Washington next month for a few landscape shoots. I get caught in a lot of rain and mist, so I just wanted to make sure my gear won’t get ruined halfway through the trip.
