Will SumoSprings Have Same Impact On Ride Quality As Timbren SES In 2022/2025 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

my questions is on sumo springs. i have timbrem sts on my 22 chevy currently. I like them when I have my 800 lb golf cart in my truck on mad ramps sitting outside tailgate the ride is rougher by expected, but with no load, ride sucks in truck, wondering if the sumos would be better or worth the try 22 chevy is rst and 25 chevy is LT if that matters thanks ted

Hey Ted! What you are describing is no surprise. The Timbren SES is great for certain applications but notorious for its impact on unloaded ride quality. It is for that reason that we typically recommend the SumoSprings for bump stop style suspension enhancement.

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS45FR will fit both the 2022 and 2025 Silverado 1500 as long as they aren't Trail Boss or ZR2 models. You will notice a significant improvement in your unloaded ride quality over the Timbren while still getting that extra support when you're hauling your golf cart.
