Replacement Equalizers for a 2022 Apex Coachman 215rbk

Question:

I have a 2022 Apex Coachman 215rbk with tandem axles. the trailer weighs approx 4400 lbs. will the equa flex cushioned equalizers double eye springs tandem axle 3k to 6k work with this rv trailer ? the axle spacing is 31 inches centre to centre of each wheel. the width of original equalizer is 5 1/2 inches

Yes, they will Richard and thanks for the information! The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers item # LC279687 sound like they are exactly what you need. I do recommend measuring the height of your current equalizer though. The distance from the height of the side bolt hole to hanger bolt hole is 2-1/2". So long as your close to this you'll be good. If you're a couple inches off it may affect your ride height. I attached a diagram below so you can see what I'm talking about.

Please note that when you swap out your equalizers is it is recommended to replace your suspension bolts as they are only meant to be torqued down once. If you could tell me how long your shackle straps are I would be happy to recommend a replacement suspension bolt kit.

Hey Richard, how did things go with the Equa-Flex cushioned equalizers on your Apex Coachman? Did the height measurement end up matching your original equalizer closely enough for a good fit? Your update could make it easier for others working on similar tandem axle setups.
