Question:

Hi Jon I finally got back to trailer to measure, I have a dexter 13-122 equalizer, looks like 7 3/4 across, based of that would this not be a good option or would there be something better, thanks

To chose the correct Road Armor kit you'll need to measure the distance between the centers of the lower bolt holes that attach to the shackles as well as the drop from the center of the top bolt hole to the centerline of the two lower bolt holes.

For example, the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 measures 6" across on center and 3-1/2" down from the top bolt position. This kit is also designed to work with 3,500 lbs - 8,000 lbs axles. As long as these specs match what you have you're good to go and the axle centers will fall in line with what you have.

Thank you for the feedback! Our equivalent to the Dexter 13-122 equalizer is the Curved Equalizer # TREQE1. For an upgraded equalizer I recommend checking out the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-653-00 which has appropriate dimensions and has received great feedback from our customers.
