That's a really great question, Dan.
The kit that you were originally looking at, part # BM78YR, will not work if you have metal bumpers. Brandmotion does have an option for you though! You will want to get part # BM88YR instead. I double checked with the manufacturer and they let me know that this will work with metal bumpers.
