How to Mount a Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch in a 2025 Ford F-250 w/out the Puck System

Updated 11/13/2025 | Published 10/26/2025

Question:

I have a demco hyjacker autoslide hitch in my Chevy 2500 duramax. And I’m probably getting a 2025 ford f250 lariat without the oem prep package. I wondering if demco makes below bed rails for the 2025 ford f250 and how to find them? Thanks

Hey Cody. Congrats on your new truck. Demco does not make an underbed system for your truck. The only underbed system available for a 2025 Ford F-250 without the OEM prep package are gooseneck hitches like the B&W item # BW73FR. There's no way to mount your Demco Autoslide item # DM8550022 to this set up.

What you're going to need are a set of 5th wheel rails item # BWRVK2402 and new side plates item # DM6003. The side plates will allow you to convert your Demco Autoslide item # DM8550022 so it mounts on industry standard rails.

The B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # BWRVK2402 will mount in preexisting holes in your F-250's frame. This kit comes with all hardware necessary to complete the installation. I've linked an installation video below so you can see how to get them setup.

To make towing with a 5th wheel easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long item # C57010. This harness puts a 4-way and 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.

Hey Cody, how did things go getting your Demco Autoslide set up on the new F-250 with the B&W rails and side plates? Your update could make it easier for others switching trucks with the same hitch.
