Question:

Hello - Have a hand me down Superglide 2700. Id like to install it on a 2022 Ram 2500 Crew cab with 6 ft bed. The truck has no OEM tow package. Can you tell me what rail, and pinbox plate part numbers I would need to do this install? I have attached photos to this message. Thanks

Hey John, thanks for the picture of your truck bed! To install a set of 5th wheel rails in your 2022 Ram 2500, I recommend the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # BWRVK2602. This set of rails are industry standard so they'll work great with your PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch item # PUL93RR. The brackets are custom fit and install in pre-existing holes in your Ram's frame. This kit includes all the necessary hardware to get the brackets and rails installed.

What pin box does your trailer have?

As far as recommending a capture plate goes for your PullRite SuperGlide Hitch item # PUL93RR, I am going to need to know exactly what pin box you have.

@John The CSA Z240.1.2-M1981 is some kind of Canadian Standards Association code. I'll need a part number or a model number because there's a few capture plates that fit a Lippert 1621 pin box.

Yeah, not seeing model or part numbers. I am assuming I can just measure the pin box and match to capture plate dimensions on the website.

@John I used this same setup on my 22 ram (got a email asking if I wanted to chime in lol) it worked great. Took a couple hours to install. There’s factory threaded holes on the frame for the rail system. I didn’t need a plate so I can’t help there. Our camper fit perfectly on the super glide, got lucky.

@John That's exactly what you'll need to do John! If you could get me those measurements, I'll compare them to the capture plates we have and find you the right one.
