Will the DeeMaxx Alpha G1600 Actuator Work w/a 2020 Chevy Silverado Factory Brake Controller?

Question:

Hello, I see in the answer to a previous question that it has been confirmed that this brake actuator will work with a factory integrated brake controller in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. So I would think it would also work with a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado with integrated factory brake controller, is that correct?

Hey Kevin. The DeeMaxx Alpha G1600 Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes item # DE95AR will indeed work with the factory brake controller in your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. This is a 1,600 psi actuator that works with disc brakes.

I’m the original owner of a Weekend Warrior FS3000 triple axle Toy Hauler. I want to install DeeMaxx 12” 6 lug disc and either DeeMaxx 1600 psi Actuator with XL fluid capacity or the Deutsche Hydrapro Alpha G-1600X, which from what I understand they are both made by Hydrapro. I have read a lot about compatibility issues with GM ITBC system and EOH actuators.

@KevinR The DeeMaxx Alpha G1600 Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator item # DE95AR and the Deutsche Hydrapro Alpha G-1600X item # DH44FR are identical actuators with the exception of how they look. Both are compatible with the factory brake controllers in GM trucks after the 2017 model year without the use of an additional adapter. For a 6 on 5-1/2 lug pattern, we have the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit - 12" Hub/Rotor item # DE28YR. These are designed for 6,000 lbs axles and fit a spindle that uses Inner bearing item # 25580 and Outer bearing item # 15123. These are sold per axle. We do not have a all in one kit so you will also need the DeeMaxx Hydraulic Brake Line Kit - Triple Axle item # DE37SR for a 20' trailer or item # HS496-253 for a 25'.
