Do You Have A Full DeeMazz Brake Kit For My Brinkley z2900 5th Wheel?

Updated 06/27/2025 | Published 06/20/2025

Question:

I have a 2024 Brinkley z2900 5th wheel with lippert brakes that are worthless. I saw a couple of videos about the Deemax kits. Im considering purchasing that system. Do you have the kit, lines and controller that you recommend for that exchange? We only camp 3 to 4 times a year but mountains to outer banks.

Hey Rusty,

I took a look at your 5th wheel and it looks like it has tandem 7k axles on it. We do have a full kit from DeeMaxx with the hub and rotors, new brake lines and the actuator for those brakes. That kit is part # DE66AR, and comes with everything needed. I would double check your brake flange and make sure it is a 5 bolt, and make sure your wheel studs are 1/2" and this kit will work well for you. I attached an installation video for you to get an idea of what the install will look like.

DeeMaxx is going to be a better quality brake for your 5th wheel. Do you think you would be installing this yourself/

@Rusty It is not too difficult of an installation, I attached a video of us installing this on a trailer for you to get a better idea as well. For me the hardest part is just running the brake lines, everything else is pretty straight forward. I think you'll be able to get this done with ease.
