Will Rhino-Rack Vortex Crossbars Fit BAK Revolver X4ts Hard Tonneau Cover on 2026 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:

Hey experts... Question for you on tonneau + rack combinations. I know the Retrax and others work really well w/ the Yakima Overhaul, but Im hoping for a lower profile and racks that are closer to the bed rail. I previously had a BAK Revolver and loved having full access to my bed vs. losing the canister space on a Retrax or similar retractable cover. Would the BAK Revolver X4ts by any chance work with something like the Go Rhino XRS Cross Bars? Still low profile, but above the bed maybe high enough to accommodate? Thanks as always for the input! You all have great suggestions and I appreciate them! -Sam

Hi Sam; the Rhino-Rack # RRVA165B-RRRLT600 would fit the rails but it doesn't have the clearance for the cover to roll up underneath. However, the Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01151-5855 will work with the BAK Revolver X4ts. The rack is adjustable from 19" to 30" giving you plenty of clearance for the tonneau cover and different height options for different applications. The Yakima OutPost HD # Y01152-5855 is another option with an upright height of 13".

It doesn't look like we have the X4ts for your Sierra on our site right now but if you let me know your bed length in the comments below I'll see if we can add it.

Thanks, Robin... I appreciate the response, and was expecting that answer. The 2026 and 2025 bed lengths are the same, so the standard box is 6' 9". Thanks again! -Sam
