Comparing Yakima SkyBox and SkyBox NX Roof Cargo Boxes

Question:
Whats the difference between the Yakima Skybox 18 and the Yakima Skybox *NX* 18? Is it model year? Construction?

The Yakima SkyBox 18 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y07336 has a Black Carbonite finish and is an older model of SkyBox while the Yakima SkyBox NX 18 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y45AV has a Black Nano-Texture and features a more modern style that matches better with current-gen vehicles.
The NX also has a removable knob for the mounting hardware so the floor of the NX doesn't have as much bulk in it.
I really like the NX redesign so I recommend going with that over the older SkyBox style.
