Question:
Is there any difference between the WS52ER and WS97WR besides height?
asked by: Jacob
Expert Reply:
Jacob, the only difference is the range. The # WS52ER gives you up to 6 inch of drop, while the # WS97WR goes to 8. Both are built on a 2.5 inch shank, both are rated 22K GTW / 2,200 lbs tongue weight, and both include the pintle plus 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch balls with the built-in scale.
And since you mentioned height, the 6" version is about 9" tall overall, while the 8" version is about 11" overall.
Do you already know how much your trailers need, or are you still measuring that out?
