Question:
I have Dexter vault hubs on my vexus bass boat trailer. 3 of the 4 are flush with the end cap .. however one protrudes out slightly. Does this mean that something is wrong with the hub that 4 one that protrudes out. I provided photos to help articulate the issue. Thank you for any advise you can provide.

Hey Steve, thanks for the pictures. That's normal. The Dexter vault hubs popping out slightly like that shows the system is pressurized. It'll pop out all the way if there's a leak or a problem.
I would check the other one though. It looks like it's leaking at the pilot hole but I don't know how long that grease has been there. I recommend wiping off the grease and seeing if it leaks out again. If it does you'll most likely want to replace that axles vault kit.
We have four options based on your axle capacity. I have listed them below:
2,500 lbs - 3,500 lbs - Dexter Vault Hybrid Lubrication Kit item # DX52UR
4,200 lbs - 5,200 lbs - Dexter Vault Hybrid Lubrication Kit item # DX23ER
6,000 lbs - Dexter Vault Hybrid Lubrication Kit item # DX83ER
7,000 lbs - Dexter Vault Hybrid Lubrication Kit item # DX73ER
How long have those vault hubs been installed?
