Hey Brian! You can definitely replace your existing water heater with a tankless water heater. I recommend the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater as a replacement. This will use your existing gas and plumbing lines so the only thing you need to do is measure your cutout. The Furrion requires a 12-3/4" to 12-13/16" wide x 12-5/8" to 12-3/4" high x 23-1/2" deep cutout for installation. You can choose from the following based on door color/size:

-Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Auto Pilot - 60,000 BTU - 16" x 16" Door - Black # FR32TD

-Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Auto Pilot - 60,000 BTU - 16" x 18" Door - Black # FR92TD

-Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Auto Pilot - 60,000 BTU - 18" x 18" Door - Black # FR42TD

-Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 60,000 BTU - 16" x 16" Door # FR98SR

-Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 60,000 BTU - 16" x 18" Door # FR48SR

-Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 60,000 BTU - 18" x 18" Door # FR68SR

What water heater do you have now?

Hey Brian, how did the swap from your Dometic water heater to the Furrion tankless unit go? Did the existing gas and plumbing lines line up the way you expected? Your update could make it easier for others planning the same conversion.
