Hey Brandon. To replace your GC10A-4E you'll need to use a gas and electric water heater or a gas only. There's no options for an electric only water heater.

The Dometic RV Water Heater item # DMC33RR, you were looking at, would work as a replacement size wise. However, it's a standard tanked water heater that only has a 6 gallon tank. You'll actually have less hot water and they don't make 10 gallon ones that fit your cutout.

Instead, I recommend upgrading to the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater item # FR68SR. This tankless water heater can produce up to 144 Gallons of hot water per hour so no more short showers or long waits in between.

The Furrion item # FR68SR will fit easily in the cut out of your GC10A-4E because it is smaller at 12-5/8" wide x 12-5/8" tall x 19-1/4" deep compared to your Atwood's 16" tall x 15-1/2" wide x 20-7/8" deep. It includes a white 18" x 18" door.

What kind of trailer or RV do you have?

Hey Brandon, how did the swap to the Furrion tankless water heater go for your setup? Your feedback could really help others looking to replace their Atwood units.
