Say goodbye to quick, military-style showers, refilling your tank, and waiting for the hot water to recover. This revolutionary design replaces your outdated tank heater and gives you the luxury of taking back-to-back showers, washing dishes, and running a load of laundry all at once. Unlike traditional tank heaters that require constant energy to keep your water hot, this tankless, propane-fueled water heater only uses energy when you turn on your faucet or shower, providing the ultimate efficiency at a campground or off-the-grid. The endless, on-demand hot water has no recovery time and is perfect if you're on the road full-time or traveling with a large group.
Has your warm and relaxing shower ever been interrupted by a cruel burst of ice-cold water? Perhaps you've been the victim of a scorching surge of hot water that scalds you and sends you dancing out of harm's way. Either way, it's the worst, but those days are over. Furrion's vortex technology is designed to eliminate those dreaded hot and cold water fluctuations by consistently mixing hot and cold water together to reach your desired temperature, ensuring those warm, comfortable showers.
This state-of-the-art technology is equipped with built-in safety measures to ensure you, your family, and your RV stay out of harm's way.
Its dual temperature sensors automatically shut off power if the water temperature exceeds 149 F, preventing the unit from overheating while also reducing the risk of hot water scalding. The unit also has a flame monitoring feature that cuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out to prevent gas from leaking inside your RV and a built-in safety valve that allows pressure to vent at 87 psi to prevent excess pressure and heat build-up.
This tankless water heater features a control board to keep itself warm when temperatures drop. Freezing water can damage the unit, so an internal thermostat monitors water temperature and will turn the heat on automatically when it gets too cold. This feature will only work if the water heater is receiving power and gas. You will need to remember to winterize the water heater before storage over the winter.

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Furrion RV Tankless Gas Water Heater with the 16 inch by 16 inch door, has a 60,000 BTE capacity. Now, this is a tankless water heater. It's gonna provide endless hot water on demand in your RV. It will include everything shown here on the table.
It includes the water heater itself, the black door, which we've attached to it, the wall thermostat right here, and then the user's manual, which will describe how it all connects and how it operates. Now, this is gonna give you 144 gallons of hot water per hour, which is perfect for full-time RVers or traveling with your family. This is gonna allow you to take showers, wash dishes, and do laundry simultaneously. So basically, with this water heater, you're not be caught without hot water again. It is an efficient LP gas power that's gonna save you money by only heating the water when you turn on the faucet or the shower.
I wanted to flip it around to the back here, just to show you the connection down here. This is your LP gas inlet. This will heat up fast. It operates effortlessly in temperatures as low as 39 degrees. Also back here, if you notice, you'll see this blue cap right here on a connection.
This is your cold water inlet. You'll just remove that cap and make your connection. It's a half inch NPT connection. And then over here, you'll notice the red cap. This is on your hot water outlet.
You'll remove that cap, and it's also a half inch NPT connection. This little tank right here, this one's a vortex system. Basically what this does is it'll mix your hot and cold water to eliminate fluctuations and reduce the risk of hot water scalding. Now, the wall thermostat we mentioned, it's gonna have digital LEDs that let you adjust the water temperature by degrees. It also has an alarm that'll beep to alert you of any malfunction, and it'll display any error code to let you know what's going on. Now, the black door right here uses a spring loaded latch, which removes easily for cleaning and maintenance. Basically the way you would remove it, there's a little latch here that you just lift up on the tab and then turn it just like that, and you can hear the door come loose. And if you let it down, you can see it'll stay in that position. But if you wanna take it completely off, you just lift it off the two pins at the bottom, and now you have full access. The internal safety features on this will automatically activate to protect you, your family, and your RV. Basically, it'll shut off power if the water temperature exceeds 149 degrees Fahrenheit. It'll cut off gas if the flame goes out to prevent gas from leaking inside your RV. And it allows pressure to vent at 87 PSI to prevent excess pressure and heat buildup. Now, they do use an antifreeze control board, which will turn the heat on automatically to prevent damage when the temperature drops overnight. You do need to make sure you remember to winterize this water heater before storage over the winter. The technology they use on this is vibration smart technology. And what it means, it's designed to resist intense shock and vibration during travel. Now, this is a very easy installation. It is designed to fit most existing water heater compartments. It uses existing gas and plumbing lines and the mounting hardware to install this is not included. A few dimensions I wanna give you on this. The width, if we measure from this side to this side, is 12 and five eighths inches wide. The height from the bottom here to the top is 12 and five eighths inches tall. And the total depth, if we swing this around and we measure it from here to the very back here is 19 and a quarter inches deep. Now the access door we mentioned, we'll go ahead and put that back on, just to show you, just pop it on the bottom. There's two pins that you just line up. Once you get 'em lined up, you can see and then you just push it closed and then pull out on this and twist it, flip it down, and it'll hold it in place. The access door dimension is about 16 and one eighths inches wide, 16 and one eighth inches tall. Voltage on this is 12 volts DC. Does use an automatic pilot ignition, and again, the heating capacity is 13,000 up to 60,000 BTU. It does offer temperature settings range from 95 degrees Fahrenheit up to 124 degrees. The default is 115, shut off is 149, and the total weight on this whole unit, it's only about 28 pounds.
