Question:

Given the fact that all the components behind the facia are black, it’s hard to see details on the small cell phone screen. You should have the ability to go full screen on the video. Also, you don’t mention whether the Maverick is a hybrid or standard or does it make any difference?

Hey Paul. You can go full-screen on the item # RM87NQ video if you tap your phone screen on the video and stretch it out like you're trying to zoom in on a picture. I've got an iphone and it filled the screen when I turned it sideways. Only the hybrid models of the 2025 Ford Maverick can be flat towed so what trim you have doesn't make a difference as long as it's a hybrid.

To flat tow a 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid you will need the following parts:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates item # e74ZR

Baseplate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - item # RM87NQ

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-15267

Charge Line - Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. Thanks for the clarification. I have an older roadmaster system. I bought for my 2016 equinox back then so may try to update the Maverick to utilize the same unit which would require me buying the new under Hood harness and breakaway switch which went with the car. I do have the in cab unit though.
