Question:
I currently have an Equalizer E2 weight distributiin hitch rated at 12000lbs. I am downsizing my trailer to a GVW if 4700lbs. Can I purchase a new set of trunnion/spring bars rated at 6000lbs to be used for this trailer, and will these fit properly in my current hitch head?

Hey Matt. If you have the e2 Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control item # FA92-00-1200, which is the old Equalizer 92-00-1200, you can use the Replacement Trunnion Spring Bars for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems item # FA92-01-0699. These are rated for a 600 lbs tongue weight and 6,000 lbs GTW. They will fit the same hitch head.
Do you have the older Equalizer E2 pn 92-00-1200? You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
