Question:

Need ac replacement for 2016 cedar creek silverback re...note says not backwards compatible. What options do I have?

Hi Greg!

We do have options for you, but the R32 coolant systems that all manufacturers were required to change to in 2025 so they could meet new EPA regulations are not backwards compatible and cannot be used with anything pre-2025. I know that's a bummer and probably not what you were hoping to hear, but there isn't any way around it, unfortunately.

With that said, you would need the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 # ADV92SR as this is a full set up.

Is the one you are needing to replace the original AC?

Yes, I have 2 dometic units with multi zone thermostat

@GregR So Advent doesn't offer a multi zone set up, but you could switch to single zone and have two thermostats. To switch to multi zone set up, I recommend the following: Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Multi Zone - 15,000 Btu - Black - R32 # FR45TD Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Roof Air Conditioner Unit - 15,000 Btu, Black - R32 # FR58TD Multi Zone Controller for Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner Setup - R32 # FR53TD Air Distribution Box for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioners - Electric Control - R32 # FR68TD It is quite a bit more expensive, but Furrion does make the quietest ACs on the market currently.

Want to replace both ac units while I'm up there
