Updated 09/17/2025 | Published 09/09/2025

Question:

I have a Holiday Rambler Endeavor. I have duratherm Dometic roof ACs. 135000 BTU heatpumps, Model No. 630035.321. I am looking to replace both with something compatable. Hoping to use current thermostat that contorls both. This is a Ducted system. Want to upgrade to 15000 btu units if similar wattage.

Hello Gary, thanks for reaching out. Do your Dometic units use a traditional ceiling mounted distribution box? If so, we do have an option for replacing them, but it will be a full AC system replacement. Reason being new AC units use R32 refrigerant now, and these units are not backwards compatible with older AC systems. All of the ACs we offer require a typical distribution box, so as long as this is what your RV uses, we do have something for you. I recommend the following:

- Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Multi Zone - 15,000 Btu - Black - R32 # FR45TD

This includes everything you need to replace/upgrade your AC system. You get the 15K BTU rooftop unit, multi zone controller, distribution boxe and thermostat. The thermostat can control the AC as well as the furnace. Upgrading from the 13K BTU to 15K will not be a problem.

Our existing units have a grill that can blow air straight down through the grate, or slide the grate and it forces air through the ducts. Do those come in white?

@GaryN We do have them in white but the kits are sold individually. Take a look at the following: - Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Multi Zone - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 # FR73TD

@JesseM I also see this unit is air only. I was looking for units with heat pumps

@GaryJ We do have GE units with built in heat pumps like part # GE85ZR but these are single zone so it would require you to install a separate thermostat for each unit.
