Question:
I am needing the inside dimension of the hook and i am also needing to know it the top of the spring and the top of the inside of the hook has a 1inch clearance.

The CE Smith Safety Chain with S-Hooks # CES62QR have a 13/16" opening, and measures 7/8" from the top of the spring to the top inside of the S-Hook.
