Hello, what is the diameter of the S hook?

Hi Justine; the S-hook on the # CES62QR is 1/2" in diameter. I went ahead and attached a diagram below with some additional dimensions. These have a weight capacity of 5,000 lbs and the chains are 24" long.

Will these fit the safety chain loops on your hitch?

Hey Mark, so the CE Smith chain part #CES42QR has a diameter of 1/4 inch which means the inside width of the chain link is .43 inch which is the max diameter bolt that could pass through it.
