Question:

I have a 2025 Chevy Silverado HD2500 Duramax 4x4 ZR2 which has a factory lift. Please confirm which air bag is the correct one for this truck: Is it the Air Lift Load Lifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle Part Number: AL28F.

Hey Robert. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers item # AL28FF do indeed fit the 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 ZR2.

Please note that the item # AL28FF installs on the outside of the frame in the same location that brackets for a gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch mount. If you're planning on installing an in bed hitch or already have one, I recommend installing the Firestone Ride Rite Kit item # F2709 instead. These air bags are also compatible with the ZR2 setup and won't block any mounting brackets.

I also recommend adding the Firestone Air Command item # F99VV to your truck. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags from your phone.

Do you have a gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch?

Jerred, thanks for the response, I'm going to purchase the Air Lift 5000 since I don't have a 5th wheel attachment or plan on needing one in the future. Regards, Robert

@RobertP You're welcome! If you go with an onboard air compressor you won't need that big Firestone one with the Air Lift kit item # AL28FF. The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs item # AL74000EZ will work great.
