Best Trailer Hitch For 2025 Kia Niro PHEV

Question:

Can you please confirm that this hitch is compatible with a 2025 Kia Niro PHEV? I see confirmation for earlier years of this model, but not 2025, and I cant confirm it on the Curt website. Also, does it require any modifications on the vehicle itself, or the hitch? Thank you.

Hello Larry, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Curt Class 3 Hitch # C77NR will indeed fit your 2025 Kia Niro PHEV. I double checked with Curt and they do confirm this hitch fits all models of the 2025 Kia Niro EV and this includes the PHEV model.

What will you be using the hitch for? Are you pulling a trailer?

Jesse - Thanks for the great info. The hitch will not bend for towing, but instead for a heavy-duty bike rack that can hold two 55 pound e-bikes. I believe/hope the car can handle that load. Thanks.

@Larry So the # C77NR hitch has a 200 lb tongue weight capacity. With two 55 lb bikes you have 90 lbs of capacity to spare. So as long as your bike rack weighs less than 90 lbs you will be just fine.
