Question:
We will be installing 2 300ah lithium hour batteries. I currently have a progressive industries model PD9280A converter/charger. Will this be sufficient or will I need to upgrade? Thank you for your assistance in this.

Hi Joanne; the old PD9280A is not lithium compatible so you will need to upgrade to charge those batteries. I recommend the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD89RR which is the equivalent replacement. This has the same 80 amp output, charge wizard, and will work with lithium.
