Will The Yakima Load Warrior Install On My RAV4 With A Factory Rack?
Updated 09/03/2025 | Published 08/25/2025 >
Question:
Hello, Im interested in purchasing a Yakima Load warrior with extension for my 2025 Toyota RAV4 Woodland Edition. Can you confirm that this basket will fit on the factory installed rack? Thank you!

Hey Dan,
The Yakima Load Warrior # Y07070-74 will in fact fit your factory crossbars on that Toyota RAV4. It is one of the more popular vehicles that uses these so they would be crazy to not make it compatible with the factory rack. This will install right onto it and you will be ready to go.
Do you have any big trips planned coming up?

Thank you for your insight Nick. I went ahead and purchased the Load Warrior and I am generally happy with it, but it's not a perfect fit on my 2025 RAV4 as the factory installed rack crossbars are only 24" apart, and the Load warrior calls for them to be 30" apart. These racks are NOT adjustable, which is Toyota's fault, and will make it less ideal for using the extension. Thankfully there is enough play in the Yakima mounting brackets so it still lines up with the cross bars and should work fine, just not perfect. In response to your trip question, I'm driving to the Mojave desert this month for Wasteland Weekend!
