Tailgate Lift Recommendations for Landscaping Trailer with 6 Foot Tall Heavy Tailgate

Question:
Hello, We are in the market for a landscape trailer tailgate lift assist and have been looking at several including the double barrel system. Our tailgate has a two foot extension welded on to the end making it six feet tall. It is 6.5 feet wide. The gate is made fro 1.5inch square tubing and is very heavy. Were looking for something that will do the job without having to make alterations on our end. Just bolt on and go. thanks

The Rack 'em Double Barrel # RA-27C features a bolt-and-go installation and can handle tailgates up to 200 lbs. If your tailgate is pretty solid, and comes in under 200 lb, the Double Barrel would work fine for you.
