How does the NX Skinny compare to a traditional sized rooftop box for hauling snowboards and skis? Will longer skis fit?

Jasmine, you’re on the right track looking at this box for snow sports. The NX Skinny # Y93QD can handle skis and snowboards up to 195 cm long (~76.5 inches), so unless you’re rocking ultra-long Nordic skis, you’re golden. This is one of the longest options.
Inside height is 13", which means you’ll be able to stash boards with bindings no problem. Plus, with its dual-side opening, you can grab your gear from either side of the vehicle at the trailhead or lodge. Just make sure to dry things off before loading to keep the interior clean :).
