Question:

I’ve looked a trailer hitch for our 2022 Toyota Highlander and seems to be several different ones. They all say they fit the Highlander. What’s the difference? Which do I need and how much is it? Basic hitch. 5000 pound standard hitch. Thanks. Fuzzy

Hey Fuzzy, we do have a lot of hitches that fit your 2022 Toyota Highlander but they basically fall into two styles. Ones that are mostly hidden where only the hitch opening hangs below the rear bumper like the # e75ZR and ones that have the crossbeam as well as the hitch opening hanging below the bumper like the part # C45CR.

I prefer the mostly hidden hitches as they look a little nicer and they also have the capacity you mentioned needing but the advantage to the non-hidden hitches is they cost a little less and have higher capacities.

Are you planning on towing a trailer?
