Hi Carl!
Will the factory bump stops need to be removed from your 2018 Ram 1500? Yes they will. Will they need to be cut out though? No they will not. It might a slight pain in the rear, but they can be twisted out. If they really don't want to move, shoot some WD40 around them and let it sit for 10 or 15 minutes and they should come out easier. Can get it started by whacking them with a hammer too. A little percussive maintenance is always fun. : P
Once they are out, installing the Pacbrake Alpha HD Air Bag Suspension Kit - Single Convoluted - Rear Axle - 5,000 lbs # PB75ZV is a pretty straight forward process and shouldn't take too long to get installed.
